Thank you for joining me for
episode two of Coffee Crazed Knits. My name is Kayla, and I'm glad you took the time today to sit with me. Today's episode was not jam packed full of FO's, and my WIP's are not all that impressive in size, but I am hoping that next week I will have more to show you!
For my WIP's this week I am working on the Spruce Cove Pullover by Michael Brian McNorril, which you can find
Here. I am really enjoying this knit and am learning some new things along with it. First of which is Norwegian purl. This has made making ribbing so much easier for me.
Here you can find the video that I used to learn the technique. This sweater has also been my gateway to mock ribbing and cabling.
On the same note of cabling I have begun some of my Christmas knitting which is headbands for the girls in my family. The pattern I am using is called
Cable Headband by Jennifer Newman. I currently have four of these on my needles.
I only have two finished objects to show you guys this week. The first of which is a Christmas present for my mother. I am working on the
Fisherman's Wife Cowl which I purchased from Craftsy during their Thanksgiving Day Sales.
The second FO that I have is a cat door knob toy I made. This is a rough version and there are some things I am going to tweak. I am going to be making some of these to sell at the pet store that I work at.
This week I started watching a new podcast,
Little Bobbins Knits. I am starting from the very beginning and am only 15 episodes in but I am really enjoying watching her podcast.
Thank you for joining me this week! See you next time.
