All the Christmas Goodies!

Thank you for watching episode 3 of my podcast, which also happens to be the final episode for 2015. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone! This episode is unfortunately a bit on the rambly side, but I hope you can forgive that! Thank you to my new subscriber and for returning viewers who may not have felt to press the subscribe button. I hope you enjoy!

You can find my latest episode here.

You can find me on Ravelry as CoffeeCrazedKnits, as well as on instagram under the same name.

Come the New Year I plan on opening up my Etsy shop so more updates on that front will be coming!

Episode 2

Thank you for joining me for episode two of Coffee Crazed Knits. My name is Kayla, and I'm glad you took the time today to sit with me. Today's episode was not jam packed full of FO's, and my WIP's are not all that impressive in size, but I am hoping that next week I will have more to show you!
For my WIP's this week I am working on the Spruce Cove Pullover by Michael Brian McNorril, which you can find Here. I am really enjoying this knit and am learning some new things along with it. First of which is Norwegian purl. This has made making ribbing so much easier for me. Here you can find the video that I used to learn the technique. This sweater has also been my gateway to mock ribbing and cabling.
On the same note of cabling I have begun some of my Christmas knitting which is headbands for the girls in my family. The pattern I am using is called Cable Headband by Jennifer Newman. I currently have four of these on my needles.

I only have two finished objects to show you guys this week. The first of which is a Christmas present for my mother. I am working on the Fisherman's Wife Cowl which I purchased from Craftsy during their Thanksgiving Day Sales.

The second FO that I have is a cat door knob toy I made. This is a rough version and there are some things I am going to tweak. I am going to be making some of these to sell at the pet store that I work at.

This week I started watching a new podcast, Little Bobbins Knits. I am starting from the very beginning and am only 15 episodes in but I am really enjoying watching her podcast.

Thank you for joining me this week! See you next time.

Episode One- The Beginning

Hi and thank you for taking the time to watch my first episode!

If you haven't watched it I have included it Here
My name is Kayla and I have thought about starting a podcast for a month or two now but I was a bit scared of starting. Hopefully my nervousness didn't show too badly on camera! First of all I want to give a shout out to Mina from The Knitting Expat Podcast. She can also be found on Ravelry as mina86. I love watching her Podcast and she was part of the inspiration for me starting one of my own!
I also want to give a shout out to Jenny from Tiny paper Foxes on Youtube and Ravelry. I love seeing all of the projects she makes and hearing stories of knitting on the subway.

Here you can find links to the patterns I spoke about in the video:

Thanks for watching! I hope to see you next time!
